Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychotherapy is a general term for therapeutic approaches which try to get the client to bring to the surface their true feelings so that they can experience them and understand them.

The therapist normally takes an attitude of unconditional acceptance no matter what your problem is. The therapist uses interpretations which are a way of making sense to you about what is going on in order to help you become aware of your unconscious feelings.

Sessions are normally for 50 minutes at the same time each week. The length of treatment can vary from a few weeks to several months or even years depending on the nature of the problem.

Psychotherapy sessions take place at our space in Hackney, north east London, or via telephone, Skype or WhatsApp. Please get in touch with any queries or to book a Psychodynamic Therapy session.
